*Sevil Kramer graduated from the Hacettepe University’s Diet and Diabetes
Department in 1982. For many year, she worked at the Ankara SSK Research Hospital and served as the department head of the SSK Ankara Birthome’s Diet Department. She has held faculty positions at Gazi University, Uludag University, and Karadeniz Technical University. After consulting for various private hospitals, Kramer retired to the United States in 2004. She continues to consult part-time at educational institutions on diet education.


**Gulsin Onay holds the titles of State Artist in her native Turkey, and of
soloist for the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara, Turkey. She is
the "Artist in Residence" at Bilkent University in Ankara and holds honorary doctorate degrees from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, and from Hacettepe University in Ankara. The Sevda-Cenep and Music Foundation awarded its prestigious 2007 Honorary Award Gold Medal to Gulsin Onay. Gulsin Onay’s program will include:
-Frederic Chopin Ballade no.3 in A flat major, op.47
-Ahmed Adnan Saygun 2 preludes in Aksak rhythm, op.45 nos.4 and 12
-Franz Liszt Concert study no.2 "La Leggierezza" and Après une Lecture du Dante, Fantasia quasi Sonata

Mor Cati provides a shelter as well psychological and legal support to women who are victims of domestic violence. Since 1990, Mor Çatı volunteers and the women who come to the centre because they have experienced domestic violence have worked together to develop change within society. More Cati Consultation Centre receives 10 applications on average via telephone or face to face per day. For more information on Mor Cati visit:
